We sell 3 products for caterpillar control:
BACILLUS
THURINGIENSIS,
variety
kurstaki, sold as DIPEL DF, is a
bacterium
occurring naturally worldwide which contains a toxin lethal to
Lepidopteran (butterfly
and moth) larvae. It does not attack sawfly caterpillars, e.g. on
gooseberries
and Solomon's Seal. It is applied as a high-volume spray to leave
a deposit on the leaves where the larvae are feeding, and acts as a
stomach poison
rather than on contact.
Use under glass or outdoors whenever
caterpillars are seen.
Approved for use on brassicas, salads, herbs,
top fruit, strawberries, raspberries and ornamentals.
500gram packs price £39 + VAT.
We regret that the sachets are no longer registered for sale in the U.K. |
