ANAGRUS
ATOMUS,
a minute native British wasp, attacks glasshouse leafhopper
(Hauptidia maroccana) at the egg stage in the underside of the leaf
vein. Parasitised
eggs turn bright red in the last week before the adult wasp emerges.
Minimum temperature 12C (54F)
Best on protected
crops and can be used all the year round.
Supplied as wasp pupae
in parasitised eggs on leaf.
Adult wasps have a short lifespan so
we recommend you introduce at least twice, preferably 4-6 times for a
severe
infestation, at weekly intervals.
Anagrus is not effective against
the sage leafhopper (Eupteryx melissae).
