The native
nematode STEINERNEMA KRAUSSEI, sold as the product NEMASYS Vine
Weevil killer, attacks the larvae underground, killing them within a
few days
by infecting them with bacteria.
Minimum soil temperature needed 5C (41F). Treat protected crops any time larvae are present and it is warm enough. Outdoors late August-October is the best time to treat, while larvae are still small, but any missed then can be treated in March and April . The nematodes cannot attack adult beetles.
